Vampire Weekend release two new songs

Vampire Weekend have premiered two new tracks and announced the release date of their upcoming new album Father of the Bride.

The record, which will be the follow-up to 2013’s Modern Vampires of the City, is due to be released on May 3rd. The album will be made up of 18 songs and run for around 59 minutes. According to Koenig, the vinyl edition of the record will be released on two LPs. 

To coincide with the news, Vampire Weekend have released two now tracks The first is titled ‘Big Blue’ and ‘Sunflower’. The former features contributions from The Internet member Steve Lacy.

The new tracks follows the release of their single ‘Harmony Hall’ which features actor Jonah Hill in the music video.

The video, directed by filmmaker Emmett Malloy, is produced by Ariel Rechtshaid and Ezra Koenig and also features Hollywood actor Hill. The video follows band singer Koenig cooking breakfast and sharing with the group… and a snake.
