Twisted Sister unveil first 2026 reunion tour date

Twisted Sister have unveiled the first US date on their upcoming 2026 reunion tour.

In September, the band confirmed plans for their reunion tour in 2026, a decade after they retired from touring.

Now, the iconic metal band have revealed that they will perform at the Alaska State Fair in Palmer, Alaska, on September 4th 2026. It is expected that the band will announce other US shows at some point in the near future.

Slowly, the band have been posting a string of other show announcements on their social media. On December 4th, they shared that they will be playing Graspop Metal Meeting in Belgium on June 19th.

Additionally, the band also posted a date for a show in Mexico, set to take place on May 1st.

It was previously announced that their first UK show in a decade will be a headline set at the Welsh festival Steelhouse.

Their riotous sound will celebrate the 15th staging of the Welsh festival, held at the mountainous Hafod-y-Dafal Farm, Aberbeeg, Ebbw Vale. The festival will take place from July 24th to 26th, 2026.

Though the band promises that their return will be full throttle, they’ve also shared that the line-up will be changing slightly. Longtime bassist Mark Mendoza won’t be joining them for the upcoming shows; instead, Russell Pzütto, who has played with the band in the past, will join for their new endeavour.

When announcing the reunion, frontman Dee Snider shared, “In 2026, Twisted Fucking Sister will hit stages around the world because WE STILL WANNA ROCK!!”

Twisted Sister have only played a single live show since 2016, after they reunited for their Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction in 2023. At the event, they played three hits, ‘Under the Blade’, ‘We’re Not Gonna Take It’, and ‘You Can’t Stop Rock ‘n’ Roll’.
