Turnstile announce singular summer UK headline show

Turnstile have announced a huge summer show in Halifax in August, their only UK headline show of the summer.

The hardcore group has announced via social media that they are set to play a “special” show at the Piece Hall in Halifax on August 26th. The venue has a capacity of around 6,000 people.

Their one-off appearance in Halifax is part of the venue’s mammoth summer season. The hardcore legends are the latest addition to the TK Maxx presents Live at The Piece Hall calendar, which includes a whopping 41 shows, including the likes of McFly, Garbage, CMAT, and David Byrne.

Nicky Chance-Thompson MBE DL FRSA, CEO of The Piece Hall Trust, has looked ahead at the newly-announced show, sharing excitedly: “2026 will see Turnstile playing at some of the world’s most iconic festivals and then here in Halifax at UK’s most iconic heritage venue.”

She went on to add, “We always aim to deliver for the full spectrum of music lovers in Calderdale and knowing how passionate our rock and metal community is, this gig will be off the scale – truly unmissable!”

Last year, Turnstile took the summer circuit by storm with huge shows at Glastonbury Festival, Primavera Sound Festival, Outbreak Festival, and more.

This year, they will continue on their festival circuit with appearances at Lollapalooza in Argentina, Brazil, and Chile, as well as Coachella, Welcome to Rockville, Kilby Rock Party, Bonnaroo, Fuj Rock Festival, Flow Festival, and more.

UK fans can see them at All Points East Festival in London’s Victoria Park, where they will support headliner Tyler, the Creator alongside Rex Orange County, Mariah The Scientist, Clipse, Sexyy Red, Yebba, Ravyn Lenae, Fakemink, Vince Staples, Jean Dawson, Rochelle Jordan, Lovespells, AG Club, and La Reezy.

Earlier this month, the Baltimore band took home two Grammy Awards. In reaction to the win, they wrote online: “This band has never been about the individual, but rather about a collective searching for a common thread in a world where those threads are being hidden from us.”
