Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross share Vol. 2 of ‘Watchmen’ score

Once the premiere of HBO’s Watchmen landed Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross, the men behind the score, announced that it would be released in three installments, with the first volume landing this month.

The members of Nine Inch Nails have now shared Vol. 2 of the score for you to stream right here. The latest volume is an extension of the series’ incredible score and features 13 of the full score’s 39 tracks.

The physical copies of the first two volumes are available right now and we imagine the third one will be out before Christmas. Splitting them up was something Reznor discussed with Billboard recently saying, “I think that putting out an hour and a half of music today is like throwing it out the window — it’s asking too much of a kind of short attention span audience that we’ve all become.”

He continued, “So breaking it up into chunks felt like something we wanted to do. It’s just something that feels very Watchmen to us. It’s fun, and a cool way to get music out and be part of the story.”

The vinyl releases are where hardcore fans should head to as the packaging, according to a press release, “explores the culture of Watchmen America and provides revealing insights into the saga’s mythology and mysteries.”

But for now stream Watchmen: Volume 2 below.
