Tommy Lee Jones’ daughter, Victoria, found dead in hotel room at 34

Victoria Jones, the daughter of actor Tommy Lee Jones, has been found dead, aged 34, in a San Francisco hotel room.

Jones was found within the early hours of New Year’s Day at the Fairmont San Francisco, according to TMZ, which cited law enforcement sources.

A spokesperson for the San Francisco Fire Department has confirmed that Jones was discovered at the Fairmont at 2:52am on January 1st. They said: “Our units responded to the scene, performed an assessment and declared one person deceased.”

According to the Daily Mail, Jones was discovered in a corridor of the hotel by a guest at the Fairmont, who alerted staff to the situation.

The cause of death is unknown. However, NBC Bay Area report that no foul play is suspected.

Jones was a child star, appearing in Men in Black II in 2002 alongside Tommy Lee, and also had a small role in The Three Burials of Melquiades Estrada, which her father directed. Additionally, she appeared in the TV series One Tree Hill.

Tommy Lee said of his actor during an interview to promote The Three Burials of Melquiades Estrada in 2005: “She’s a good actress, has her SAG [Screen Actors Guild] card, speaks impeccable Spanish. When she was a baby, I told Leticia, her nurse, to speak to her in Spanish.”

She made a series of public appearances with her father and was often seen by his side at premieres, including at the Tokyo Film Festival in 2018.

Jones was the youngest child of Tommy Lee and his second wife, Kimberlea Cloughley. Her older brother, Austin, is 43.
