Todd Rundgren extends 2026 live dates with new US leg
Todd Rundgren has extended his 2026 run of live dates by announcing a new leg of shows that are set to take place in the US.
The American rock maestro is currently in the midst of his Damned If I Do tour, where he is on the road at the moment on the East Coast of America.
Subsequently, he is still set to travel to Europe in September for a run of eight shows, which includes UK stops in London, Bristol, Manchester, and Glasgow.
However, after those shows are complete, Rundgren is not set to end the tour as originally planned. Instead, he will now head back to the States for a further run of 20 gigs.
A month on from his final European show in Amsterdam, the musician will reopen the tour at the Castro Theater in San Francisco, California, on October 21st, before travelling throughout the state and beyond.
This will include shows in San Diego, Los Angeles, Las Vegas, and Phoenix, before Rundgren is set to wrap up the run of gigs in Salt Lake City, Utah, at the Capitol Theatre on November 21st.
Acknowledging the opportunity that the 20 new dates present him, Rundgren said in a statement with the announcement, “It’s always a challenge for me because my audience is so diverse, I never know what they’re in the mood for.”
To this end, he added, “I want to make sure we have all the musical ammunition we need to satisfy the spectrum,” with his current touring band consisting of keyboardist Gil Assayas, guitarist Bruce McDaniel, drummer Prairie Prince, horn player Bobby Strickland and bassist Kasim Sulton.
Tickets for the new leg of Todd Rundgren’s Damned If I Do tour will be available through various presales beginning on July 8th at 10am local time, before general sale takes place from July 10th at 10am local time.
