Timothée Chalamet to star in new Wes Anderson film
Timothée Chalamet has been cast for a starring role in the brand new Wes Anderson film, The French Dispatch, which is currently being shot in South West France and will feature a whole host of stars.
Apart from looking like he would easily slot into any pastel-toned Wes Anderson film there’s ever been or ever will be, Timothée Chalamet has now earned the right to be cast in one of the auteur’s films after his stunning performance in Beautiful Boy, which he is expecting an Oscar nom for.
The French Dispatch was originally slated as a musical but that has since been changed. Sources within the production team now claim the film is a “love letter to journalists” set in 20th century Parisian outpost for an American newspaper.
The flick will star regular Anderson actors including Frances McDormand, Tilda Swinton, and Bill Murray, as well as Timothée Chalamet, Benicio del Toro, and Jeffrey Wright.
We’ll bring you all the information as the latest from the mind of Wes Anderson begins to find its way to us.
