Thom Yorke and Radiohead share new 'Creep (Very 2021 Rmx)'

Radiohead’s Thom Yorke has given the band’s classic track, ‘Creep’, a 2021 facelift with his new remix ‘Creep (Very 2021 Rmx)’.

The original track is one that Yorke holds mixed feelings towards. While he’ll be thankful for ‘Creep’ sending Radiohead into the stratosphere, the singer quickly grew tired of it. Radiohead refused to play the track live for several years, and it remains very much a love/hate relationship for Yorke.

During the infamous tour for Radiohead’s third album OK ComputerYorke became hostile when ‘Creep’ was mentioned during interviews and then, in the weeks after, began to refuse requests to perform it live. One night in Montréal, things escalated when Yorke lost his cool and shouted to the audience: “Fuck off, we’re tired of it.”

Yorke seems to have come round to ‘Creep’ again as it has found its way back into the band’s setlist over the last few years. Now, the singer has teamed up with Japanese fashion designer Jun Takahashi for a brand new nine-minute remix titled ‘Creep (Very 2021 Rmx)’.

It’s a slick version of the classic track, adding a luxurious touch that makes it the perfect catwalk accompaniment. Check it out, below.
