Thee Oh Sees & The Peacers stomp their way to Manchester

Fresh off the back of a searing performance at London’s Field Day ten days ago, psych-rock behemoths Thee Oh Sees head north to rock Manchester Academy tomorrow night (14/06).

John Dwyer and co find themselves midway through a European tour that has also already taken in Bristol’s SWX and France’s This Is Not a Love Song, before the band re-land on British shores later this summer for a much anticipated show at Green Man Festival.

Even more intriguing is the news that support in Manchester will come from close friends and collaborators The Peacers, who are just about to release their second album, Introducing the Crimsmen.

What’s more? Those unfamiliar with the evening’s undercard card can tune into Marc Riley’s BBC 6 Music show tonight for a Peacers live session.

Meanwhile, the night’s headliners will unleash their ever-prolific catalogue, no doubt including tracks from the Orc LP released earlier this year, along with classics.

Tickets for Thee Oh Sees and The Peacers at Manchester Academy are available for £21 plus booking fees.
