Thee MVPS have a bloody LP finally

We are huge fans of this clan of garage-swilling and tune spitting punks, we have loved pretty much everything they have done and with their swashbuckling attitude and DIY ethos it was an easy romance to fall in to. There has always been one thing missing however, a debut LP. Well now, they have one.

The debut LP Most Valuable Players is a compilation of sorts because of this huge catalogue of songs without a cosy long play home for them all. Out on Easy Action records with the release show on December the 9th sure to be an absolute belter – trust us, we know a thing or two about a good show – this album is as much a greatest hits LP as any.

Full of brilliant tracks from the early days to the present day it has a little bit of everything. Some of the earlier songs bristle with the intense meatiness that only a re-heated chilli could match whilst the newer tunes hit as hard as a hammer with heartache.

Take a listen to ‘Gravesend Song’, a song about Gravesend, and tell us we are wrong.
