The War on Drugs pays tribute to Tom Petty with ‘Time to Move On’ cover
At the Greek Theatre in Los Angeles last night, The War on Drugs paid tribute to the late Heartbreakers frontman Tom Petty.
The iconic singer, who was found unconscious after suffering a cardiac arrest at his home in Malibu recently, was put on life support at UCLA Santa Monica Hospital on Sunday with a series of news reports confusion and speculation over the musicians death. He was pulled off live support eventually after showing no signs of brain activity before his family later confirmed the news.
With the everlasting contribution to modern music as an influence, The War On Drugs paid homage to the late rock n roll icon.
