Guitarist Justin Shekoski, has been placed under a restraining order by his former bandmates The Used after he against both the band and himself.
Shekoski, who split from the band citing “artistic differences” a few months ago, is now required to stay 100 yards away from all members of the group and any location they work, including any venues at which the band is performing.
According to new documents obtained by TMZ, Shekoski has said via text message that retaliation “is the only way to get justice” and that “those fucks ruined my life and stole all of my creative work.”
Shekoski reportedly threatened to “fucking hang [him]self in the middle of a show.”
Having joined The Used since 2015, Shekoski permanently replaced the band’s founding guitarist Quinn Allman and went on to feature on their most recent release, last year’s The Canyon, as well as Live And Acoustic At The Palace.
Shekoski previously founded post-hardcore band Saosin but was later removed from the act. The guitarist previously said it was “questionable reasons” for his removal from Saosin.
