When Mike Skinner and The Streets released Original Pirate Material in 2002 they effectively changed British culture overnight.
Now Skinner will join Tim Burgess for a listening party of The Streets’ seminal album as part of Tim’s Listening Parties on Twitter.
Taking part in Burgess’ ongoing Twitter listening parties have seen Oasis, Blur, The Libertines, Pulp, Shame and more all live-tweet a dissection of their classic albums alongside The Charlatans frontman.
The Streets frontman will dissect the 2002 album track by track on May 29th at 10pm BST and provide a keen insight into the creation of the music which changed Britain.
IDLES will also be taking part and dissecting both their studio albums, 2017’s Brutalism and the mammoth Joy As An Act of Resistance.
After the Libertines revealed Mick Jones took moments out of their recording session to watch Eastenders we’re ready and waiting to see what kind of highlights Skinner will pick out for us.
