The Maccabees Release Tour Dates

We spent a lot of our formative years at Far Out swinging wildly like drunken robots whilst trying to get girls to like us. We did all of that mainly to the soundtrack of The Maccabees.

It would be rude to think of them as an older band now as they are still young in their career and trajectory but the symbiotic relationship with their audience means they feel like a part of the family.

That’s why it’s all the more strange when that member of the family locks themselves away in a room. That is the silent treatment we have had to endure for the past years with The Maccabees hiding themselves away. But now we have the first glimpse of our long lost brothers – in an hour long silent YouTube clip of roadies setting up a recording session.

Does this mean there is a new record on the way? Does it mean that a single is imminent, does it mean that The Maccabees suspect their roadies of stealing?

Mum! Macca won’t tell us anything!

What we do know is there are some live dates at awesome venues for everyone to clamour over.

11 MAY – INSTITUTE, BIRMINGHAM
12 MAY – ABC, GLASGOW
13 MAY – RITZ, MANCHESTER
14 MAY – CORONET, LONDON
