The Labour Party announces one day arts festival ‘Labour Live’
The Labour Party have just won the race. At least the race for the weirdest music news of the day, which is probably what they’re aiming to do. It seems the political party are continuing to aim for the younger demographic by announcing that they will hold a one-day arts festival called ‘Labour Live’.
Labour Live will be held at Tottenham’s White Hart Lane recreation ground on 16th June, and will feature Rae Morris, The Magic Numbers and more.
The party described the event as “a brand new one-day festival of music, art and politics that brings together our incredible movement” it will feature some music acts that openly support Labour as well as speeches form the party’s main MPs including the enigmatic Jeremy Corbyn.
This is the first time Corbyn will look to take his party’s policies to a music festival, he took Glastonbury by storm as well as many other live performances during the snap election last year.
