The Horrors return with an industrialised new sound on ‘Machine’

So, it has happened, the fourth reincarnation of indie, in the form of the skinniest band in all of England; The Horrors, has reared its ugly head with a metallic banger of a new track. The new one is called ‘Machine’ and it’s the first new music from Faris et al since 2014’s Luminous

The track does everything that it says on the tin. Its industrialised sound is unforgiving, unrelenting and somewhat uncoloured. The song feels stoic and solid without much artistry or warmth of feeling, it sounds like a post-apocalyptic… indie band from the noughties.

Take a listen below and try to find some tickets for their teeny tiny UK shows.
