To mark the 50th anniversary of its release, The Doors’ album Waiting For The Sun is being reissued in deluxe format.

The record is due on September 14th and the whole package will contain a stereo version of the original album on both CD and 180g vinyl which have been newly remastered by Bruce Botnick. On top of that, it will also include a second disc which contains 14 previously unreleased tracks – nine of which have been recently discovered “rough mixes” from album recording sessions.

Want more? Go on then. The reissue will also include five live songs from a show in Copenhagen on September 17, 1968. Finally, the audio will also be available on digital download and streaming services.
