The Cure have been announced as the headline act for acclaimed Polish music festival Open’er.
The festival, which takes place on the North coast of Poland, in Gdynia, has grown in stature year-on-year since launching in 2002 as the Open Air Festival.
Boasting arguably their most eclectic line-up to date, The Cure join the likes of Thom Yorke, Kendrick Lamar, A$AP Rocky, Taylor Swift, Angel Olsen, FKA Twigs, The Chemical Brothers and more on the billing.
“We are delighted to be headlining Open’er Festival in Gdynia, Poland, on Saturday, July 4 2020,” the band said in a statement.
‘This is a promised/outstanding date we were unable to play on our 2019 travels and will be our only Euro festival of 2020. We look forward to seeing you there.”
The event is scheduled to take place between July 1st and July 4th with tickets available, here.
