The Creases hit us with ‘Impact’
The Aussie band have been a little quiet since they were first brought to our attention with their angular indie-pop, but with their latest track ‘Impact’ they have gone a little baggier and we love it.
The latest offering is doused with Britpop style and could have easily been plucked from the heady mid-90’s and all for the right reasons. The Creases are drilled with pop sensibilities and this permeates everything they do. ‘Impact’ is just the same, it has a hooky chorus, a crescendoing riff and something indelible which adheres it to summer.
So with the sun currently beating down on our morning we think The Creases may just be better than your morning coffee.
