The Chats announce new album 'High Risk Behaviour' with a brand new track

The Chats, a former viral sensation, now sensationally delivering virus-filled punk wherever they go, have confirmed that 2020 will see the arrival of their debut album High Risk Behaviour.

The new album will arrive on March 27th via Bargain Bin Records/Cooking Vinyl Australia and to mark the occasion the band have shared a band new track and video to boot.

The band, who shot to fame in 2017 with their viral song ‘Smoko’ are a bubbling broth of brattiness – as equally capable of offending you as they are scalding you – and their latest song is just another reason to be afraid. Very afraid.

About as close as you will ever hear The Chats get to a love song, the track is a swaggering, no-holds-barred dose of exactly what makes The Chats great – ‘The Clap’. Described by the band as, “A cautionary tale about a root gone wrong (direct quote), and an STI that just wouldn’t leave.”

The new record will be short of 30 minutes and will be an unbridled thrill-a-minute. If you need any proof then just look to this chaotic video below.
