The Black Keys have released their new song called ‘Lo/Hi’, marking the first new material from the band in five years.

Since the release of Black Keys’ last studio LP Turn Blue which was released in 2014, the bands’ frontman Dan Auerbach has been off releasing solo material along with albums with his side project The Arcs.

On top of that, Black Keys drummer Patrick Carney has been busy in the studio and recently produced Calvin Johnson’s new album A Wonderful Beast.

Now though, all attentions are back on the band, ending their self-inflicted hiatus with the release of ‘Lo/Hi’. According to a press release, the new song was written and produced by Auerbach and Carney and recorded at the Carney’s Easy Eye Sound studio in Nashville, Tennessee.
