Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr have been pictured in the recording studio together as Starr prepares to release new material.
The former Beatles drummer, who confirmed that McCartney will appear on his new record, shared a picture of the two old friends on social media.
“Thanks for coming over and playing Great bass. I love you man peace and love,” he wrote on Twitter.

Starr also posted a separate picture of himself, Paul and The Eagles’ Joe Walsh: “And look out Joe W came out to play. “What a day I’m having. Peace and love,” he added.
Walsh, who produced Starr’s latest album, was present alongside The Beatles duo who were working together for the first time since 2010 when McCartney played bass on ‘Peace Dream’ and vocals on single ‘Walk With You’.
