Temples announce new ‘Toe Rag session’ EP

Having released their second album Volcano in March on Heavenly Recordings, Temples mark the end of the year with the release of the Toe Rag Session, an EP featuring new recordings of three tracks from the album and an accompanying short-film, ‘Sound Education’, by acclaimed director Paul Kelly.

The EP, featuring ‘Roman Godlike Man’, ‘Strange Or Be Forgotten’ and ‘How Would You Like To Go?’ was recorded with producer Liam Watson at Toe Rag Studios, his analogue studio in Hackney, east London.

The session was filmed by Paul Kelly and the resulting short film, ‘Sound Education’, pays homage to schools and Open University films of old.

Both will be available on all DSPs from Wednesday 13th December 2017.

The band’s second album, Volcano – which featured in Far Out Magazine’s top 50 albums of the year – was recorded at the band’s home studio in Kettering and spawned the singles ‘Certainty’, ‘Oh The Saviour’ and ‘Strange Or Be Forgotten’.
