Tame Impala reveal video for Cause I’m A Man
Aussie psych-outfit Tame Impala have the first official video for ‘Cause I’m A Man’ set to feature on their up and coming LP Currents.
In true Tame Impala style it’s a super-psychedelic and trippy affair, inspired by the artwork for the soon to be released album.
The video is directed by LA based Weirdcore (Aphex Twin, Horrors, Simian Mobile Disco) – who smoothly navigates us through a dreamlike world using different aesthetically pleasing scenarios.
Speaking of the video Weirdcore said: “Visually for me, the video is like a kind of homage to Hipgnosis artwork, as I feel Tame Impala’s music is suited to that look and feel. Tame Impala’s new artwork was a great inspiration for the vibe of it. I happily threw in as many artwork cameos as I could from that.”
Currents is due for release on July 17, check out the new video below.
