Five music legends who couldn’t stand the Sex Pistols
Some weren’t fans.

Sid Vicious was an English musician best known as the bassist of the Sex Pistols, one of the most influential bands of the British punk movement.
Joining the group in 1977, Vicious quickly became the embodiment of punk’s confrontational attitude and rebellious image, despite having limited musical experience. His turbulent relationship with American model Nancy Spungen and their involvement with drugs attracted intense media attention, overshadowing much of his musical career.
Following the Sex Pistols’ dissolution in 1978, Vicious embarked on a brief solo career before being charged with the murder of Spungen after she was found dead in a New York hotel room. He died from a heroin overdose in 1979 before standing trial. Despite his short career, Vicious remains one of punk rock’s most enduring and controversial figures.
“He never used it to advance himself publicity-wise…”
The Modfather came out on top.
“A very bad piece of work.”
“What we put ourselves through to be good actors…”
“Sid couldn’t handle alcohol.”
