Quincy Jones

Quincy Jones was an American record producer, composer, arranger, conductor, musician and media executive whose extraordinary career spanned more than seven decades.

Widely regarded as one of the greatest producers in music history, Jones worked across jazz, pop, soul, funk, film and television, collaborating with artists including Frank Sinatra, Ray Charles, Aretha Franklin and Michael Jackson. As the producer of Michael Jackson’s landmark albums ‘Off the Wall’, ‘Thriller’ and ‘Bad’, Jones helped shape some of the best-selling and most influential recordings ever made.

Beyond producing, he composed acclaimed film and television scores, founded Qwest Records and played a pivotal role in the recording of the charity single ‘We Are the World’, leaving an unparalleled legacy across the entertainment industry.
