The 1989 band Jeff Lynne wishes he could delete from history: “They are just rubbish”
What do you mean part two?

Electric Light Orchestra are an English rock band formed in Birmingham in 1970 by Jeff Lynne, Roy Wood and Bev Bevan. Conceived as a group that would blend rock music with classical instrumentation, the band became one of the most commercially successful and innovative acts of the 1970s and 1980s. Under Jeff Lynne’s leadership, Electric Light Orchestra produced a string of international hits characterised by lush orchestral arrangements, Beatles-inspired melodies and elaborate studio production.
Landmark albums including ‘A New World Record’, ‘Out of the Blue’ and ‘Discovery’ established the band as global superstars. Despite periods of inactivity, Electric Light Orchestra returned in the 21st century under Jeff Lynne’s leadership, continuing to perform and record while maintaining their reputation as one of Britain’s most influential rock bands.
