‘Succession’ actor Dasha Nekrasova dropped from agency after podcast with Nick Fuentes
Dasha Nekrasova, most known for her role in the hit series Succession, has been fired by her talent agency, Gersh, after interviewing the far-right commentator Nick Fuentes on her podcast, Red Scare.
The actor hosts the podcast alongside her collaborator, Anna Khachiyan. On October 10th, she uploaded a video to her channel that depicts the entire discussion, which lasted for over two and a half hours.
During the episode, they discussed Fuentes’ recent rise in popularity. They also made remarks about Charlie Kirk’s assassination, the immigration issue, and Kanye West’s recent struggles, among many other topical issues.
Their conversation has been viewed over 220,000 times online. Fuentes is considered the leader of the Groypers, a movement of young right-wing activists with an America First ideology.
Fuentes has made plenty of anti-LBGTQ, anti-feminist views in the past. He is a known Holocaust denier and describes himself as a “Christian anti-nationalist.” In the podcast, the trio appears to reinforce negative stereotypes about oppressed groups, focusing a lot of their attention on Jewish people.
Nekrasova has also made several controversial statements in the past. For example, in 2023, as shared by Variety, she remarked, “Francis is not the real Pope, we all know it. … You’re not gonna get rid of the Freemasons. You’re not gonna get rid of the Jews. They infiltrated the Church a long time ago.”
In response to the video, Gersh, Nekrasova’s talent agency, has dropped the star.
On Succession, Nekrasova appeared in nine episodes. She played Comfrey Pellits, a member of Kendall Roy’s PR team. The actor has also previously appeared in the film Materialists and several TV shows, including The Serpent, Mr. Robot, and Dickinson.
The star has yet to comment on the recent development.
