Steve Mason to play secret gig in Salford for £5… tonight!
Steve Mason – the man behind The Beta Band and King Biscuit Time – is to play a secret gig in Salford this evening at the Eagle Inn.
The Glasgow singer-songwriter is to give a select few fans the chance to preview unheard material from his upcoming album – the follow-up to Monkey Minds in the Devil’s Time, which was released in 2013 on Double Six.
What’s more, tickets for the show will be priced at just £5, and can be purchased on the door only from the Eagle Inn.
They will be on sale from 7pm, but get down early as demand is set to be huge and the venue only accommodates a capacity of 80.
Teasers were first sounded out earlier this week when BBC 6Music confirmed a secret event would be taking place somewhere in Salford Friday May 1st.
Mason also posted a photo of the Eagle Inn on his Twitter account earlier this week, simply with the caption ‘SALFORD’.
So there you have it, get down to the Eagle Inn on Collier Street, Salford from 7pm to see a master of his craft within the most intimate surroundings for just £5.
