Steve Carell and Timothee Chalamet in new ‘Beautiful Boy’ clip

An extended trailer for the eagerly anticipated new feature film Beautiful Boy has been released.

The film, which is an adaptation of David Sheff’s memoir, has been in the works for a number of years and struggled to settle on a permanent director. Now, the team of director Felix Van Groeningen and Lion filmmaker Luke Davies have made sure that Beautiful Boy is at last on its way to screens.

In the lead, Steve Carell and Timothée Chalamet star and have undoubtedly spearheaded themselves to current Oscar frontrunners and received positive praise following its premiere at the Toronto Film Festival.

The biographical drama chronicles meth addiction and recovery through the eyes of a father (played by Carell) who watches his son Nic (Chalamet) as he struggles with the addiction.
