Splashh – ‘Feels Like You’

‘Feels Like You’ is the latest offering from psych band Splashh as excitement builds surrounding the release of their debut album ‘Comfort’, available in September.

The beautiful mix of New Zealand and Australian roots gives this band that extra dimension when creating their surf rock foundations; they’re believable, and they’re genuine.

Combine that with their now Hackney home, Splashh are blending their brand of tropical surf sound with heavy psychedelic guitars that are leaving kids weak at the knees.

‘Feels Like You’ is a follow-up to the immensely popular ‘All I Wanna’ carrying on their trippy 1990s throwback, drenched in Sasha Carlson’s reverb-heavy vocals.

As their name suggests, the track splashes you with sunshine but still leaves you feeling overwhelmed in their shoegaze grunge racket.

Staying true to the DIY culture that modern bands have immersed themselves in, Splashh have entirely self-produced the single and the debut album, only highlighting their raw talent.

Without giving too much away, we’re meeting the band later this month for a chat, so if you like the track, keep an eye out.
