Spice Girls claim that they are in talks to play at Glastonbury 2019.

Apparently, the pop group’s management has held talks with Glastonbury’s Michael and Emily Eavis in regards to what would become a highly controversial appearance on the iconic Pyramid Stage in June 2019.

The Spice Girls, who recently announced a reunion tour scheduled for early May and running into June, are apparently keen to make a string of festival appearances to boost that bank balance.

Band member Mel B said: “Glastonbury. It’s been talked about,” she said. “But we’re so pop and it’s so cool — that’ll be funny to me.

“I think Mel C would really appreciate us doing that — she’s the cool one. She’s the cool indie chick.”

Well then.
