Sophie Allison, the 21 year old Nashville native who finds her fame under her moniker Soccer Mommy has released a brand new set of tracks that hit home from the very first note. Having released LP Clean to critical acclaim this year and with a huge tour on the way Allison is reaching the peak of her powers.

Her huge tour supporting the musical darling of the moment Kacey Musgraves is largely due to her hugely successful debut LP Clean, which we absolutely loved and put in our top 50 albums of 2018. The first track we’ll share with you is from that album. ‘Blossoms’ is a previously un-released highlight of the album while the next song to be shared ‘Be Seeing You’ was only ever released as a b-side to the ‘Last Grill’ 7″ vinyl.

The two tracks are what we have come to expect from the effortless and heartfelt tone of Soccer Mommy. The songs are long dipped in reality, steeped in emotion and finished with the kind of open veracity that only people under a certain age have. It’s Soccer Mommy showing the world her ability.

Boy, does she have a lot of it.
