Smashing Pumpkins, Weezer and Frank Zappa for Record Store Day 2018 Black Friday


Record Store Day are here yet again to make Black Friday (23th November) unmissable for vinyl lovers with 154 special releases being announced today across independent record stores across the world.

There is something for all the family on the list if you want to use it as an excuse to get started on buying Christmas presents early. Some notable mentions on the list include Weezer’s legendary cover of Toto’s ‘Africa’ is set for release on shaped picture desk vinyl, whereas Frank Zappa’s ‘We’re Only In It For The Money’ is set to be released as a Record Store Day First as well as The Smashing Pumpkins’ record ‘Shiny and Oh So Bright, Vol. 1 / LP: No Past. No Future. No Sun’.

Other artists who make the cut include Keith Richards, Ramones, Rage Against The Machine, A$AP Ferg, Garbage, Eric Clapton, Chris Cornell, Manchester Orchestra and OutKast.

There’s also some less classic releases which have made the list including THAT infamous Sting & Shaggy collaboration and Adam Sandler’s 1996 comedy record ‘What The Hell Happened To Me?’
