Shania Twain to play smallest show in decades at London’s Shacklewell Arms
Shania Twain has announced a surprise intimate show at London’s scuzzy 200-capacity venue, the Shacklewell Arms.
On June 6th, the Grammy-winning icon will appear at the Dalston venue for her smallest gig in decades.
A month later, Twain will support Harry Styles on his record-breaking 12-night run at Wembley Stadium, beginning on June 12th and concluding on July 4th. Following this, the country star is also slated for a headline slot at Limerick City’s Thomond Park Stadium in Ireland on July 7th.
As the event is expected to draw such incredible demand, tickets will be made available via a ballot, which will then give fans the chance to buy up to two tickets via Dice should their name be pulled in the ballot. Tickets are priced at £25 each and are non-transferable.
Fans who aren’t successful in the ballot will have the chance to try for a spot through the ‘That Don’t Impress Me Much’ performer’s social media channels on May 29th.
It’s an exciting time for Twain, who is set to release her seventh studio album, Little Miss Twain, on July 24th via Republic. Her previous release came in 2023 and was titled Queen Of Me.
Twain’s last show in London came in the summer of 2024, when she headlined the BST Hyde Park festival. She followed that up with a celebratory legend’s slot performance at Glastonbury Festival.
Shackwell Arms in East London has seen many huge names across the years, including cult favourites such as Amyl and the Sniffers, FKA Twigs, Wolf Alice, Sorry, Fontaines DC, Haim, Skrillex and Beabadoobee.
Twain isn’t the only support act for Harry Styles’ Together Together world tour. Across seven international residencies, he will be supported by Robyn, Fcukers, Jorja Smith, Jamie xx, Fousheé, and Skye Newman.
