Shame unveil debut music video for single ‘Gold Hole’

South London five-piece Shame round of a raucous year with the release of their debut music video, ‘Gold Hole’.

The new video also sees Mica Levi’s debut foray into music video directing, who alongside fronting Micachu & The Shapes has just scored the music for the acclaimed Jackie biopic, as well as 2014’s Under The Skin soundtrack.

But we digress, back to Shame.

Emerging from a raucous cacophony of bristling guitars, unhinged live shows and gloriously reckless attitudes are, Shame who have lived quite the talked up existence so far – but with good reason.

It was only a matter of weeks we talked of the ‘punk energy with the patter of the Streets, the spittle of Mark E. Smith’ in the release of single ‘The Lick/ Gold Hole’.

Now, they have a video:

“Taking the piss out of every element of a traditional music video”, video director Levi said. “The Gold Hole video is about how being a narcissist can mess up a song, the pretty Evil face of something killing the content of it’s parts.”

And one more for good measure..
