‘Scary Movie’ actor Jayne Trcka dead at 62
Jayne Trcka, an actor, bodybuilder and wrestler who appeared in Scary Movie, has died aged 62.
News of Trcka’s death was confirmed by her son to TMZ, who revealed that his mother passed away on December 12th, 2025.
At this stage, no cause of death has been established.
A spokesperson for the San Diego Medical Examiner has also confirmed to the US Sun that “there was trauma to [Trcka’s] body, but we wouldn’t be able to indicate cause of death at this time”.
Trcka first began competing as a bodybuilder during the late 1980s, but didn’t pursue it on a full-time basis for another decade.
Then, in 2000, she moved into acting and landed the role of Miss Mann in Scary Movie. Trcka later appeared in The Black Magic, Nudity Required, The Interplanetary Surplus Male and Amazon Women of Outer Space and Cattle Call.
Additionally, Trcka appeared as a prison guard in the video for Lady Gaga’s hit song ‘Telephone’, and guested in a variety of television shows, including Who’s Line Is It Anyway?
According to TMZ, Trcka also worked as a realtor in California outside of her work in the entertainment and fitness industry.
During an interview with Muscle Magazine (via The Independent), Trcka explained how wrestling was her first love and revealed that she performed as Kasie Cavanaugh during her younger days, sharing, “I remember standing in my underwear in our living room, having boxing and wrestling matches with my brother.”
She added, “I used to chase the neighbourhood boys with angleworms; I loved to have the upper hand on the boys.”
