Salman Khan discourages “dangerous” fireworks during ‘Tiger 3’ screenings
During a screening of the new Salman Khan movie Tiger 3, several enthusiastic moviegoers decided to set off some “dangerous” fireworks.
Following a screening of the new movie at Mohan Cinema in Maharashtra’s Nashik district on November 12th, fans of Khan celebrated the movie’s success with a rather incendiary display.
In the wake of the scene, which left moviegoers ducking and diving for cover, Khan has spoken out against such antics. Who knew fireworks set off indoors could pose a risk of injury and fire damage?
Khan responded to the incident in a post to X, formerly known as Twitter. “I’m hearing about fireworks inside theaters during Tiger3,” the director wrote. “This is dangerous. Let’s enjoy the film without putting ourselves and others at risk. Stay safe.”
In the video seen below, the cinema’s dark interior can be seen. As soon as Khan’s face appears on screen, whistles sound an apparent alert to some daring pyrotechnicians.
A few sparks and crackles give rise to a scene of pandemonium as fireworks flare, some exploding at head height, others higher in the hall.
From what can be seen in the video, fireworks were set off by multiple visitors from the ground floor seats. Unwitting punters, meanwhile, duck for cover and head towards the exits at the rear of the screening room.
According to the local police force, the cinema owner has filed a complaint, and an investigation is underway.
