Sade has announced details of her new six-album vinyl boxset which is titled This Far.
The upcoming collection is set to include new versions of the singer-songwriter and her band’s six studio albums which have all been remastered at London’s Abbey Road Studios.
Sade fans only have to wait until October 9th before they can get their hands on This Far which will be released via Sony with each of the six albums set to be pressed onto heavyweight 180g vinyl.
Sade’s approach is certainly quality over quantity with her only releasing six records despite releasing her debut album Diamond Life in 1984, before following it up a year later with Promise in 1985. The other records included in the boxset are 1988’s Stronger Than Pride, 1992’s Love Deluxe, Lovers Rock from 2000 and Soldier Of Love from 2010.
She has only released one piece of new music since 2010 effort Soldier of Love which was ‘Flower In The Universe’, a song co-written and co-produced by Sade alongside Ben Travers and Andrew Hale and released as part of the soundtrack for A Wrinkle In Time in 2018.
