Pink Floyd’s Roger Waters has been announced as the first headliner for next summer’s series of British Summertime at Hyde Park gigs alongside dates at arenas around Britain.
The legendary figure will bring his ‘Us+Them’ tour to the UK on June 29th in Glasgow, followed by dates in Liverpool and Manchester before arriving at Hyde Park on Friday July 6th then concluding at Birmingham Arena the following night.
Waters is the first headliner announced for next year’s series of outdoor gigs at Hyde Park following performances from the likes of The Killers, Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers and Phil Collins this year.
The ex-Pink Floyd man released his first album in 25 years earlier this year with Is This The Life We Really Want? and the tour will mark Waters’ first live appearance since the release when his ‘Us+Them’ tour lands in Britain.
Tickets for all dates are set to be released on general sale from Friday October 6, and are priced at £89.90 for general admission, whereas general admission tickets for the other dates start at £76.00.
