Roger Daltrey warns fans to stop smoking weed at The Who’s gigs
Roger Daltrey has once again warned his fans to stop smoking weed while he’s performing live with The Who.
The Who, currently embarking on their expansive 25 date ‘Moving On! Tour, sees Daltrey and Pete Townshend perform with a full orchestra.
Of this tour has taught us anything, it’s that Roger Daltrey is allergic to weed smoke and, while performing in Long Island recently, was almost forced to leave the stage because the scent was too strong.
Now, performing in New York on Monday night, Daltrey was again forced to address the crowd after the smoke again began to become overwhelming: “All the ones smoking grass down in the front there, I’m totally allergic to it,” Daltrey said while addressing the crowd.
“I’m not kidding, whoever it is down there, you fucked my night and you made me really … I’m allergic to that shit and my voice just goes [slurps]. So fuck you!” he added.
