Rock and Roll Hall of Fame 2025: Presenters and performers announced

The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame will enjoy a star-studded induction ceremony this year in Los Angeles at the Peacock Theater.

The list of music figures on hand to support includes Olivia Rodrigo, Elton John, Doja Cat, Questlove, Twenty One Pilots, Raye, Beck, and Missy Elliott, who have been announced as being involved in the ceremony.

The occasion, taking place on November 8th, will honour Outkast, the White Stripes, Soundgarden, Cyndi Lauper, Joe Cocker, Bad Company, Chubby Checker, and more. It will be available to stream via Disney+. ABC, the organisation behind Jimmy Kimmel’s recent suspension, will also air the performances.

The show won’t stop there. The list of presenters released on October 8th, one month before the show, also includes Brandi Carlile, David Letterman, Flea, Iggy Pop, JID, Killer Mike, Maxwell, Sleepy Brown, Taylor Momsen, and Teddy Swims. Crucially, it has not been revealed who from the new list will be presenting and who will be performing, so fans are kept guessing until further notice.

On some level, music lovers already know what to expect from this year’s show. Salt-N-Pepa and the late Warren Zevon will receive the ‘Musical Influence’ Award, while Thom Bell, Nicky Hopkins, and Carol Kaye will be inducted into the ‘Musical Excellence’ category. Additionally, Lenny Waronker is the recipient of the ‘Ahmet Ertegun Award’.

Recently, Far Out cover stars Devo hit out at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame after over two decades of disappointment. Since their eligibility in 2003, the band have never been granted entry to rock’s most exclusive members’ club despite being nominated on numerous occasions. They won the fan vote last week, but it wasn’t enough to ensure their inclusion.

More special guests will be revealed in the days leading up to the show.
