A new documentary follows the life of the late Robin Williams and is titled ‘Come Inside My Mind’.
Directed by Marina Zenovich, Robin Williams: Come Inside My Mind remembers the actor who shared his life through a series of comic roles in a number of blockbuster movies.
The documentary details Williams, who died from suicide in 2014 at the age of 63, and delves into the actor’s personal fears and struggles with addiction. Williams’ former co-star Steve Martin also shares his thoughts on what he witnessed with his friend during the trailer: “He was really comfortable on stage,” Martin said. “Offstage, I just felt that he was holding himself together.”
The trailer also features Williams as the initial voiceover, he says: “For me, that’s jazz, that’s what I have to do.
“I don’t tell jokes, I just use characters as a vehicle for me.”
The synopsis reads: “An intimate look into the life and work of Robin Williams, the master of stage and comedy. ‘You’re only given a little spark of madness and if you lose that, you’re nothing’.”
