Robert Plant confirms new North American tour with Saving Grace

Robert Plant has announced a North American tour, coined Up the Sharp End, alongside Suzi Dian and Saving Grace.

The trek, which is in support of their recent album, Saving Grace, will kick off on September 18th in St. Louis.

From there, throughout September, Plant and friends will appear in Kansas City, Colorado Springs, Santa Fe, Flagstaff, Highland, San Diego, and Paso Robles.

In October, the Led Zeppelin singer will kick off his October shows in Santa Barbara, before moving on to San Francisco, Sacramento, Salt Lake City, Rapid City, Sioux City, and Minneapolis, before concluding in Chicago and The Chicago Theatre.

The shows hold space for up to 10,000 fans, depending on configuration, at Rapid City’s The Monument, while Plant’s most intimate show will take place at Humphreys Concerts by the Bay in San Diego, which hosts roughly 1,400 people.

Before the autumn tour, Plant has several dates booked in June and July, including in Šibenik, Istanbul, Ankara, Plovdiv, Athens, and Halkidiki.

Far Out gave Plant’s recent release, Saving Grace, a glowing four-star review, observing, “Plant himself is still fantastic years on from even the Raising Sand days. His version of ‘It’s A Beautiful Day Today’ is absolutely gorgeous, and ‘I Will Never Marry’ is the kind of melancholy that not even his former band could have reached back in the day.”
