Rebecca Clements – Pure Wasted

Rebecca Clements – Pure Wasted

Our Track of the Day is ‘Pure Wasted’ by Bristol born Rebecca Clements.

Dig your flip-flops out and dust your sunglasses off because this twinkly lament is definitely one for the summer.

Rebecca Clement’s distinguished vocals flow perfectly with the steady drumbeat and clean, resonant guitar that is central to ‘Pure Wasted’. A sweet melody is paired with a bitter undertone to create the perfect musical contrast, “We had something pure, now it’s pure wasted.” Words that a lot of us hopeless romantics can surely relate to.

If ‘Pure Wasted’ is anything to go by, I’d watch out for Rebecca Clements because she’s sure to make a splash in the coming months.

If you’d like to see Rebecca live, some dates are listed below:

June 13th – Bushstock Festival 2015, London.
July 9th/12th – 2000trees Festival, Cheltenham.
July 26th – Somersault Festival, Barnstaple.
August 6th/9th – Boardmasters Festival, Newquay.
