Reading and Leeds 2025: Travis Scott ends Leeds headline set after 55 minutes

At Leeds Festival, rapper Travis Scott reportedly ended his headline set after just 55 minutes on August 22nd.

The first day at Leeds Festival welcomed performances from the likes of Amyl and the Sniffers, The Dare, Suki Waters, Trippie Redd, D-Block Europe, Waterparks, Antony Szmierek, and Sammy Virji, as well as Scott.

Scott previously sub-headlined at Reading and Leeds in 2018, with this year’s appearance marking his return to the event for the first time in seven years. The booking was also a major coup for the festival, as it was secured as a European exclusive.

However, the rapper abruptly left the stage at Bramham Park 40 minutes early, after telling the crowd, “I love you so much. Goodbye.”

One fan in attendance, Pedro, told the Yorkshire Evening Post, “I think it’s a bit shocking that he’s just ended it like that. I thought he was going out for an outfit change or something. I thought the show was good otherwise but it was just a shame he ended so suddenly.”

While Scott hasn’t addressed his set ending early, he did write on X after the show, “Who got the over head video of the intro of the set at Leeds. Champain and dumbo that was maddd wild.”

Although Scott ended his set early at Leeds, he did still play 24 tracks during his performance, according to Setlist FM.

The ‘Goosebumps’ rapper is set to headline Reading Festival tonight. Meanwhile, Leeds Festival will welcome Hozier, Chappell Roan, The Kooks, Bloc Party, AJ Tracey, Soft Play, The Chats and many more to Bramham Park today.

Notably, at Reading Festival on August 22nd, The Kooks welcomed Hollywood star Rebel Wilson to the stage for an unexpected cover of Coolio’s ‘Gangsters Paradise’.
