Raye announces new album, ‘This Music May Contain Hope’

Raye has finally announced her new album, This Music May Contain Hope, which is slated for a March 27th release.

Of the new project, Raye has shared, “Music is medicine, I’ve always said that. I guess I’m in the process of making medicine for myself that I can share with the world.”

The ‘Escapism’ singer added, “I want us all to say to ourselves that it’s going to be all right, and I’m going to have faith in the seeds that I’ve planted beneath the snow. I wanted to create something that is a hug, bed or soft place for that person who needs it.”

This will be Raye’s second official studio album, following 2023’s My 21st Century Blues, though the musician has released several live albums and EPs, and a handful of collaborations.

In 2024, she made history by winning six Brit Awards, including ‘Album Of The Year’, the most ever in one year, alongside a total of seven nominations.

Recently, Raye has shared that the album, among plenty of other themes, will interrogate the notion of her public, and “intense” comparison to late singer-songwriter Amy Winehouse.

“It’s quite an intense thing to address so early on in this album, but I felt in my heart that I really wanted to,” Raye shared.

The three-time Grammy nominee recently announced a huge 2026 tour, titled This Tour May Contain New Music, which already nodded to the fact that she had plenty of new material up her sleeve.

The huge tour will run from January 22nd to May 12th. It will start in Poland and stop at key European cities, such as Berlin, Bologna, Oslo, Cologne, Zurich, and Paris.

Raye will visit the UK for six dates in February and March, playing two nights at London’s iconic O2 Arena.
