Rat Boy is calling for ‘Revolution’
The newest track from Jordan Candy (aka Rat Boy) is one of his bolshiest. It sees the artist look at the society surrounding him and the one on it’s way – essentially a Brexit-themed track. The song follows his previous track ‘Lovers Law’.
Love him or loathe Rat Boy knows a hook when he hears one and his ability to melt several genres in to one song is uncanny. He says of the track “’Revolution’ is about life as a young person growing up in a post-Brexit Essex, it’s about feeling trapped.”
‘Revolution’ above all else feels decisively British. Multi-cultural, without borders and unabashed. Well, perhaps it sounds like Britain used to be.
