Rare and unreleased David Bowie albums set to be released for Record Store Day

To celebrate the 10th anniversary of Record Store Day, Parlophone is releasing two limited-edition David Bowie albums.

On April 22nd, Cracked Actor (Live in Los Angeles 1974), a three-album set recorded on the Philly Dogs Tour in September 1974, will be released across and astounding five sides of vinyl.

The record, mixed by longtime Bowie collaborator Tony Visconti, also features Luther Vandross on vocals in the band line-up.

The second album, titled Bowpromo, is a single-sided release that recreates a rare 1971 pressing that featured seven Bowie tracks on its A-side, with five songs that ended eventually up on Hunky Dory.
