Rage Against The Machine confirm 2020 reunion tour

Rage Against The Machine have confirmed their comeback with a string of tour dates in 2020 which includes a major performance Coachella Festival.

The iconic funk metal band, who were formed in 1991 by Zack de la Rocha, Tim Commerford, Tom Morello and Brad Wilk., haven’t played together since their 2011 L.A. Rising performance at the Los Angeles Coliseum.

Having built their reputation on wild live shows and material with revolutionary political views, the group made the comeback announcement quietly by simply posting live tour dates via their social media channels. Given the current political climate in the US, Rage have chosen to play at venues close to the Mexican border which includes the likes of El Paso, Texas; Las Cruses, New Mexico; and Phoenix, Arizona.

Wayne Kamemoto, a longtime collaborator of the band told Forbes: “The band’s social media is accurate.”
